It seems to me that almost all people have their beloved hobbies: for some people it’s travelling or walking tours, for others it’s just collecting something. The majority of my friends and relatives just collect some things: my sister adores statuettes of angels (she has a large collection from more than 25 countries of the world), my best friend collects coins (sometimes it even seems to me that they are everywhere in her flat). I also belong to those people who merely collect some things; I collect watches.
At present my collection consists of 24 watches. All of them are of different colours, various shapes, among them there are watches with small and large dial plates, some of them have leather wristlets, some metal, one of them even sing. All of them become to my different dresses, blouses and business suits. And I like all of them very much.
Now it’s difficult to say when I started to collect watches, I think that it happened nearly eight years ago. But I clearly remember my first watch. My first watch my mother brought me from Italy where she had a rest and where she managed to buy Skagen watches for me. That time I was a school girl and I was really impressed by this watch. And even today this watch is dear to me because this watch started my collection.
Several years ago I went to Netherlands where I found a shop that offered cheap Gucci watches. It was a really beneficial bargain and I bought this watch without any hesitation.
Certainly I have my favourite watch. I received it from my loyal friend five years ago for Christmas. It’s a small silver watch with a very peculiar tracery on its wristlet. The dial plate is not very large as well and Roman numerals on it are drawn with intricate flourishes, there are some small shinning precious stones on the watchcase. It is so beautiful and expensive as well (but my friend said that she managed to buy this watch in Kenneth Cole watches deparment on sale).
From time to time I buy watches on my own and I usually use watches online store in such cases. And when I need to buy a present for somebody I usually buy watches, for example last month it was my brother’s birthday and I decided to purchase discount sports watches for him. He was very glad…
In the end I’d like to add that hobby is a great thing that makes your live more pleasant and interesting.
