It seems to me that almost all people dislike doing a repair. I’ve made such a conclusion according to my parents’, relatives’, friends’ words and certainly my own opinion. For me a repair has been a disliked necessity, a job that I have to do from time to time but which doesn’t bring me pleasure. But everything changed about five days ago; owing to a good friend of mine I managed to solve this problem!
At the beginning of the previous week I decided to change lighting in my house and to find some new rugs and a table. I asked my friend to help me as he is good a designer. We agreed that he would pick me up at 5 p.m. near my house. I wore the most comfortable shoes as I thought that we would visit dozens of shops and at agreed time I was standing in the street waiting for my friend. Finally he drove up, stopped the engine and got out of the car. It looked like we didn’t go anywhere.
- “Oh, yeah! You are right! Everything we need is just your laptop” - he said.
I was puzzled. When we came into the house he explained to me that to his mind there was no necessity to spend a lot of time visiting a great number of shops because we had an access to “the greatest invention of the XXth century - the Internet”.
Later I understood that he was right because we found without any difficulties where to make monorail lighting bargains and buy bedside lamps. We managed to come across large rug sale and even found a site where it was possible to ask for console tables free delivery. I ordered everything I needed that evening, though at first I expected that it would take me at least three days to choose and buy all the things I wanted to change in my house.
We spent in front of my computer only an hour and forty minutes and the rest of the evening we communicated, drank tea with tasty candies and looked through my summer photos.
When my friend left I was thinking for some time what a nice thing the Internet was. And starting from that evening I decided to save my time and money and buy all necessary things on the Internet!
