It’s not a secret that the Internet is a “great power” (as my teen sister says). Today many people say that they can hardly do without the Internet because they need it for work or for communication for instance. It seems to me that today you can do almost everything through the Internet: to chat with your friends and relatives who live far from you (and you even have an opportunity to see them, of course if you have a web-camera), you can freely establish business relations, conduct business negations and make money via the Internet and even buy products and things on the Internet. Isn’t it wonderful?
Earlier I thought that there are few people who buy things online and that the majority of people prefer to purchase what they need in traditional shops. But I was mistaken. I understood it not long ago when I was talking to my friend. It turned out that he had bought some iPod photo accessories and made Leica camera deals during the last month.
After that conversation I decided to find out who among my friends prefer to use online shops instead of traditional ones. I was surprised but from ten people eight use the Internet for buying various things. For instance not long ago my cousin found a Kodak printer ink sale. He thinks that this sale is very useful and popular among people. He told me that to his mind the Internet really facilitates our lives, saves time (we don’t have to visit many shops that are situated far from our houses) and he is sure that it’s also cheaper to purchase things on the Internet.
Even my best friend said that she was going to buy Leica cameras equipment through the Internet.
I didn’t expect that so many people among my friends and relatives use the Internet for doing shopping. After I’d talked to many people and heard their opinions and explanations why do they buy things on the Internet I came to conclusion that it’s really very useful thing. And the next time when I need this or that thing I’ll buy it on the Internet.
