The art to decorate yourself with tattoos is one of the most ancient and it exists for centuries. Tattoos appeared accidentally when people noticed that after cuts, in which soot or paint gets, various pictures are left on the skin. Since that moment our ancestors started to hurt themselves intentionally. That was the way tattoos appeared.
At first tattoos became popular in Egypt and due to numerous trade relations of Egypt with other countries they soon appeared in Persia, Greece, Crete and many other states. A tattoo served not only as a decoration, but as a sign of the tribe, showed the origin of a person, also a tattoo was used for a disguise and it was even endowed with magic force.
Today they propose us a great variety of pictures to make on our bodies. I personally don’t have a tattoo, but a close friend of mine has several on his shoulders, back and neck. He says that today it’s possible to find a tattoo you like even via the Internet for instance in different online tattoo catalogues. Not long ago his girlfriend found in one of such catalogues an Egyptian tattoo she really liked, then she printed it and went to a good tattoo master, who made it on her shin. She remained satisfied.
My friend’s girlfriend told me that it’s far more convenient to find a tattoo on the Internet because it saves a lot of time. When she did her first tattoo she turned for help to a master and they spent about an hour looking through different pictures before she finally chose the one she liked. And certainly she was asked to pay for this hour, so looking through online catalogues of tattoos saves you money as well.
