To my mind modern people are really lucky ones, because they have an access to the greatest achievement in the history of the society - I mean to the Internet.
I really appreciate the Internet because it provides us with a range of different opportunities. Today a lot of people get acquainted through the Internet, I even personally know some happy couples who got to know each other via the Internet and then got married in some time. The Internet is thought as a meant to keep in tough with friends and relatives who live abroad; there are many ways to do it from e-mails to special programs where you can even hear each other. More and more people purchase various goods online. A lot of people make money online: they work as freelancers, create commercial sites, online stores, etc. For nevertheless for the majority of people the various games, programs and so on and so forth.
I personally use the Internet to get necessary information, to buy some products from time to time, but more often I use it when I want to relax and have fun. For example, several days ago I had nothing special to do in the evening. I spent that evening with my little sister who is 13: we watches TV, ate pizza and were looking various funny celebrities videos. I got a lot of pleasure and received a charge of cheerfulness for the rest of the week.
I’m sure that the Internet not only helps people to receive necessary information they need for work, but also helps people to relax, find new acquaintances and makes our lives more interesting and pleasant.
